For those of you interested in the Argentine Tango the good news is that you can now find places in Kraków to enjoy this extraordinary dance. A group of aficionados started the whole thing in about 2000 and since then the local tango scene has been growing. A number of workshops have also taken place by way of a basic introduction and local teachers provide introductory training. One of the major events is our annual Puente del Tango festival which we organize largely with domestic and foreign visitors in mind. Milongas are more or less regular but you have to check. While Monika Blauht's web site is probably the most comprehensive view of the tango scene in Poland, covering everything from  workshops to concerts, from milongas to people, the comprehensive range of tango events in Kraków can be found at www.tangovirri.pl (there is an English language subpage).
